CCBA Roast of Judge Deanne DarlingCCBA Members enjoyed the lively Roast of Deanne Darling on June 26, 2009 at the Abernethy Center in Oregon City, OR. Collegues, friends and family joined in the fun which included a slide show of photographs from throughout Deanne's life, reprints of the classic "Rona Darling" gossip column, a video of Deanne taken from the CCBA Oral History Project, and tall tales of our modern day heroine. As the event came to a close, everyone agreed the evening was a delight and big kudos need to go to the chef at the Abernethy Center for the fabulous food! CCBA 32nd Annual Hon. Dale Jacobs Golf TournamentAnother rousing year of good old fashion CCBA fun occurred on Friday, June 5, 2009 when pros to beginners took to the greens. CCBA Sports Commissioners Larry Peterson outdid himself this year with prizes and handouts. Sponsor tables on the course provided members with treats, golf balls, cigars and mini-games. The big news was the crowning of this year's champions Steve Maurer, Ken Stewart, Jeff Jones and Larry Wobbrock whoc dazzled the field with a 61 in this best ball scramble. Other highlights included a 3-inch KP to Brad Jonasson, a massive LD to Ron Oetken, a 30+ foot putt win on the long putt for Roger Mundorf and a lean-it-onthe-rope straight-drive for Josh Dalglish. Special thanks to US Bank as our major sponsor along with Zeppo’s restaurant of Lake Oswego, Beovich, Walter and Friend court reporters, and of course Stone Creek Golf Club. WebsiteThe CCBA is proud to publish this website, created by Dan Gilroy Design. It is our goal to establish a website which gives information to the CCBA Members and facilitate the needs of attorneys and potential clients of Clackamas County attorneys. The CCBA is seeking comments from its members and hope we can improve the website's content on a continuing basis.
