On Thursday, April 29, 2010, the Clackamas County Bar Association presents the Clackamas County Mandatory Arbitrator Training CLE. The program will be held from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Willamette Falls Education Center (corner of 15th St. & Washington St. in Oregon City). A hosted social hour will follow (lite bites and beverages).

The Clackamas County Arbitration Commission Board members recently made a number of changes to the Arbitration Program in Clackamas County for the purpose of efficiency and judicial economy. The Clackamas County Arbitrators’ List has been reopened to accept new applicants and attorneys wishing to be on the Arbitrators’ List must submit the new revised application and attend the Mandatory Training.

This Mandatory Training CLE will include a review of pertinent ORCPs, UTCRs, and SLRs as well as discuss recent fee changes which impact arbitrations. Attendees will be provided draft forms and suggested letters to assist arbitrators in complying with their duties to move the case forward. This CLE is open to staff.
